This listing is for 21 Chopin Nocturnes on a Floppy Disk for player pianos. Available on 2SHD or 2SDD disk and in either MIDI or Yamaha E-Seq PianoSoft SOLO format. If your piano is older then 1995 then you will need the 2SDD disk.

PLEASE NOTE - Pianodisk PDS-128 & PDS-228 and older Disklaviers manufactured before 1993 will ONLY play Pianosoft, most all other pianos will play General MIDI.
When first published, Chopin's nocturnes were met with mixed reactions from critics. However, through time, many who had initially been displeased with the nocturnes found themselves retracting previous criticisms, holding the compositions in high regard. While the popularity of individual nocturnes has varied considerably since Chopin's death, they have retained a significant position in piano repertoire, with the Op. 9 No. 2 in E♭ major and the Op. 27 No. 2 in D♭ major perhaps the most enduringly popular.
