PATERSON NJ SAVINGS INSTITUTION 1942 Booklet About New Building 133 Market St., Plus a Print of the New Mural in the Bank
The c.1942 booklet is an introduction to the newly acquired and renovated bank building at 133 Market Street, along with a fiancial statement, and some other information. 8 pages, about 11 x 8-1/2 inches. Condition is truly near mint, with no flaws that I can discern.
The print of the mural, which was painted on the wall in this location in the bank lobby, shows Paterson from Garrett Mountain as it looked in 1833. Mural by Andrie Hudiakoff, painted 1942. The mat is a fold-over of the print paper. Size of folded print/mat is 14 x 11 inches. Information about the mural on the back. Condition: two tiny corner bends and a couple other light marks on the mat portion, the print portion is quite clean. This could be framed with an additional over-mat which would make it look perfect. Printed in dark brown ink. High bidder gets both the print and the booklet as one lot.
I have read that the bank was later known as or merged with New Jersey Bank & Trust Co. The building exists, but no longer appears to be a bank. I wonder if the mural mentioned in this booklet still exists in there somewhere? The architecture style of the outside of the building has not held up well over the years, to put it politely.

both Auction and Buy-It-Now formats. There are no longer Ebay refunds for postage once payment has been made:
a. Auction Purchases: Wait for combined shipping invoice on multiple auction wins prior to payment. This may take up to a day based on my schedule, and does not affect your prompt payment status. The message line of the invoice will reflect that the postage has been combined.
b. Buy-It-Now Purchases: If you plan to buy more than one item from me, add them to your shopping cart on a computer (not a phone or tablet), DO NOT USE BUY IT NOW BUTTON. Once you're completed adding to your cart from my listings, go to the shopping cart and click on the button at top of cart page that says "Request Total From Seller." You will be prompted to commit to the purchases, at which point nobody else will be able to buy them. A notice will be sent to me to package your items together and combine your shipping charges as much as possible, and send a hopefully reduced invoice. All USPS postage rates are calculated using the most affordable (not the quickest) shipping class, based on a pre-sale estimated weight and size of the package. If you want to upgrade to a quicker, more expensive postal class, you must let me know BEFORE you pay.

Ebay has taken over all duties for sales tax collection for all states that require it. I have no control whatsoever over who pays sales tax, it is out of my hands. Please direct all questions/complaints to the good folks at Ebay.
