DESCRIPTION:
This shield directly replaces the stock size shield on the genuine Honda Helix fairing.  It is made of Lucite
®
which is a very nice windshield material.  It is one of the most rigid motorcycle windshield materials on the market.  It is one of the most optically clear materials available. Lucite is more optically clear than hardcoated Lexan® windshields are.  Lucite resists yellowing more than most other windshield materials.  Another nice advantage of Lucite is that it does not have to be coated with any hardcoating.  Hardcoated shields deteriorate rather quickly, making this Lucite shield a wise long term investment.
Slipstreamer Inc., based in Blaine, MN, pioneered the acrylic motorcycle windshield industry. They have been producing quality motorcycle windshields since 1973.
NOTE... People often get confused by the product terminologies *windshield & windscreen*. The fact of the matter is they are two names for the exact same product.
