Cutter Adapter for Festool Domino DF 700, Free Return

Description

The Cutter Adapter is an adapter to mount a Festool Domino DF 500 cutter to a Festool Domino XL DF 700. The adapter fits any of the standard Domino DF 500 cutter bits (4mm/5mm/6mm/8mm/10mm).
The Domino DF 700 by itself is unable to cut mortises smaller than 8mm, which is
a DF 500 is designed for. However, w
ith this adapter mounted onto a DF 700, small mortises (4mm-10mm) can be made by using a DF 500 cutter with the DF 700 (4th picture). The height of the adapter with a DF 500 cutter is the same as a standard DF 700 cutter (on the third picture). This eliminates the additional adjustment of the Domino's depth gauge.
Each adapter was tested on a DF 700.
A 6mm mortise is cut with this adapter (the last picture).
Note that the cutter is not included in the package.
