    Description

    Vintage circa 1940s lint brush opens up to reveal a comb and nail file inside. A zipper extends around the brush. Marked inside: Top Grain Cowhide. Brown in color.
    Provenance:
    This item bears the personalized initials E.D.F. on front. It once belonged to the late Edward D. Fischer (1898-1983), longtime owner of the Fischer Insurance Agency in Staunton, Illinois, formerly located at 213 W. Main Street. The Fischer Insurance Agency had been established by Edward's father, Henry A. Fischer (1861-1950), circa 1887. At one time, the Fischer Agency had branch offices in both Wood River and Alton, Illinois.
    Near mint condition. They don't make quality stuff like this anymore. It's got that old company quality feel and look.
