    Antique 1880s-90s Washington Life Insurance Co. NY Bronze Cast Iron Paperweight
    Used
    I am pleased to offer an antique advertising paperweight for Washington Life Insurance Company of New York.
    Hefty piece features a solid cast iron base weight, which as a lovely pattern on the underside.
    The bottom is also marked by John Becker of Boston, the manufacturer.
    Top features a cast bronze plate with an attached knob handle, and is marked "Presented By The Washington Life Insurance Co. of New York".

    Moderate loss to the original finish on the iron bases. The bronze top show moderate patina and scratching from age, and the two pins that mount it to the base are a tad loose. It does however remain sturdy and can be lifted without issue.
